On Sunday 23rd July at Haywood Village academy from 3-4 pm please come and join us for a quiz trail around the school grounds. First prize will be a two-person dome tent and everyone who enters will receive a small prize. We will also be playing games and there will be crafts including painting with coloured ice cubes and making rainbow wrist bands. There will be ice lollies (weather permitting) and the usual tea and toast. There will be a short talk and live music and refreshments. This is a free event and everyone is welcome. It is a good way to meet people in the local community. Tea and Toast Church is on the fourth Sunday of every month except August when we are doing a Haywood Village Community walk and nature trail from Weston to Brean instead starting at 2 pm at Uphill Boat Yard. Further details regarding that will follow nearer the time or ask for details.

This month at Tea and Toast Church the prize for the quiz trail is a two hour Art Workshop for either a child or adult with talented local artist Sandie Skyrme and you can bring a friend for free. You can choose what kind of workshop as she works in many different materials.See the picture for some of her creations. Everyone who enters will receive a small prize but there will be one overall winner. We also have crafts including making fishes and scratch art masks and creating cake burgers and the usual live music. We hope you will come and join us and have some tea and toast and cake and meet other people from Haywood Village. This event is for all ages and everyone is welcome.

This month at tea and Toast Church there is the usual quiz trail. The prize is a meal for two worth £30 at The Landing Light Pub and everyone who enters will also get a small prize. Plus we have crafts including making bracelets and marble pictures and we have a prayer washing line for the children to peg prayers on. There is live music and tea, coffee, toast and cakes. There will also be a chance for children to join in on stage with drama and dancing. The date is Sunday 28th May 3-4 pm at Haywood Village School. Great start to Tea and Toast Church

Come and join in on Easter Sunday at Haywood Village School 3-4 pm. The overall prize for the Easter trail is a Delta Flowtail performance kite from UFO in white, blue and red and every child who enters the egg trail receives a free Easter egg.
