After the amazing turnout at the Christingle we are looking forward to the first Tea and Toast of 2018 on Sunday 28th January 3-4 pm. The theme is faith and there will be a testimony of someone telling their own personal story.There will be crafts and refreshment and live music as well as the usual story with acting for the young people to join in.

This Tea and Toast Church event is for everyone.There will be a nativity and local Haywood Village Children are encouraged to join in. Please come dressed as your favourite nativity character and we will call you on stage.Adults are invited to join in the optional bad taste Christmas jumper competition! Prize for the winner.Come and make your own Christingle and join in with the carols by candlelight to get in the Christmas mood. Mince pies and coffee served afterwards.

Tea and Toast is informal, family friendly and lots of fun with games,crafts,refreshments,live music, competitions and much more. It is not just for church goers but for everyone. This month we have puppeteers and we are making friendship wrist bands and necklaces. See you there. All welcome. Bring a friend or come and make some new ones

On Sunday 23rd July at Haywood Village academy from 3-4 pm please come and join us for a quiz trail around the school grounds. First prize will be a two-person dome tent and everyone who enters will receive a small prize. We will also be playing games and there will be crafts including painting with coloured ice cubes and making rainbow wrist bands. There will be ice lollies (weather permitting) and the usual tea and toast. There will be a short talk and live music and refreshments. This is a free event and everyone is welcome. It is a good way to meet people in the local community. Tea and Toast Church is on the fourth Sunday of every month except August when we are doing a Haywood Village Community walk and nature trail from Weston to Brean instead starting at 2 pm at Uphill Boat Yard. Further details regarding that will follow nearer the time or ask for details.
